Zack and I talk alot about music. We both love it. Some of the time we are on different pages. Hey, it’s OK. Music just courses thru our veins. You gotta love music. You have heard this before from me… Loving music, loving art, loving the theatre, loving good food and wine… this is what separates us from the lower primates. <\/p>\n
So here I sit… scratching out words on a writing project that I am immensely enjoying and Nicole has the music pumping in the background… I don’t recognize the track; but my shoulders move to the rhythm, my foot joins in, a smile takes over my face… <\/p>\n
Oh yes, this is good… I nod across the bar to “Big Mike”, he lifts his glass of Chardonnay in salute… the music moves to a tune that I know: Rick James’ Super Freak <\/em>(“kick that up Nicole!”)… and we put our hands in the air to celebrate the beat… <\/p>\n The music moves to another tune… something else that I don’t recognize; but the beat is there.
